We shall conform with Queensland Health and Commonwealth Government direction regards Coronavirus whilst preserving normality within Scouting for as long as possible.

At this stage 16 March to an anticipated 30 August (Maximum interval between reviews will depend on the rate of change of the formal advices - weekly), our response is:

* No overseas travel.
* Mass gatherings.
* Cancel all Scout organised mass gatherings of >500 people within that timeframe.
* Continue planning of gatherings >500 people beyond that timeframe but be prepared for extension of bans;
* Consider splitting events into <500 person gatherings at separate locations eg Triple S, Queensland Moot;
* Ban Scout attendance at public gatherings >500 people; and
* Fund raising in a public space - manage personal hygiene and limit physical contact with members of the public.
* Normal Scouting operations - section meetings, camps:
* Continue meetings for as long as State schools continue to operate;
* No person to attend a meeting if any symptoms. Any person developing symptoms during a meeting to leave the meeting;
* Focus on den cleanliness with disinfecting of surfaces eg kitchen benches regularly;
* Focus on personal hygiene with particular attention given to hand washing;
* Wherever possible limit closely confined sleeping on camps through separation using individual tents or through sleeping under flies; and
* Individual choice regards establishing individual sleeping arrangements on training courses etc.
* Training courses, DTMs, Committee meetings etc
* As above but with prudent avoidance of face-to-face gatherings through use of technology (eg MS Teams).
